HONEY MUSTARD SALMON WITH A KICK

The beauty of this dish is that it’s so easy to make, and yet is still so flavorful — it will quickly become one of your go-to dishes that you’ll actually be excited to eat on the regular! It is also one you can feel good about eating — while most honey mustard recipes call for lots of added sugar, here we’ve used the chili flakes to kick the flavor up a notch so you don’t even notice the limited the amount of honey we’re using. Can’t wait for you to try it!

INGREDIENTS: (serves 2)

  • 10 oz raw salmon

  • 2 tbsp dijon mustard

  • 1/2 tsp honey

  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 425.

  2. In a bowl, mix marinade ingredients.

  3. Lay the salmon skin side down on a baking sheet and coat the top of the salmon in the marinade.

  4. For medium (slightly medium rare), bake salmon for eight minutes and then broil on high for two minutes. (Timing may change depending on your oven.)
